Introduction

For my critical edition, I am looking at the beloved and critically renowned play and television show, Fleabag written and created by Phoebe Waller-Bridge. My edition will present a parallel text edition of scripts for both productions using a textual pluralism approach. This will hopefully allow readers to experience the evolution of Fleabag from a one-woman show to television production while highlighting the messaging of the text. My proposed edition would include the ability to watch either production, read either script or search through all these texts. My mock-up will visualize the comparative view, where a reader could see both scripts side by side and compare them to clips from their respective production.
