The First Editions
There are so many different aspects of The Little Prince that have led to variances. First, there are variances between the original manuscript and the first editions. Second, between the French text and the English translated text. Then, between the original American edition and the original French edition. And finally, between subsequent editions worldwide. The following are descriptions of a few variances in each of these intersections from which multiple versions of the novella emerged.
