About Me
I’m a junior at Carleton College majoring in Cinema and Media Studies. I am passionate about documentary filmmaking and any kind of filmmaking that interrogates and plays with the nature of the video format itself. I am also hoping to minor in Digital Arts and Humanities. Although I am particularly interested in digital arts such as video, photography and graphic design, I am also really fascinated by the way in which the digital age has affected the way that we consume the scholarly elements of humanities studies. In the course Textual Technology: From Parchment to Pixel, we have been studying just this, but specifically the evolution of the bibliographic code of texts and books from their origin to their current digital formats. This site will be a way to track the discoveries that we make in this course and the way that they influence my perspectives on book history and on the way that I interact with texts.
