Edition

For my edition, I am creating a version of ‘The Clod and the Pebble’ by William Blake as a synthesis of popular editions of the poem which can be traced back to variants made in a few scholarly editions. My goal is to produce a final edition synthesizing the aspects of them I consider to make the poem most readable without compromising its authorial message. To this end, I want to maintain an editorial transparency in communicating the rationale of my choices to the reader via use of annotations and paratexts.
