About This Digital Space
This blog is a digital representation for Carleton’s Textual Technologies from Parchment to Pixel class being taught remotely in the Spring of 2020. It is a platform that allows me to digitally store and present the arc of the work we have done in the class, while also taking the opportunity to ponder how digital remediation reflects the analogous physical and digital processes in text creation. I, the author of this page and blog, am Spencer Lekki, junior History major, Digital Arts and Humanities and Medieval and Renaissance Studies minor and I hope that this is a space where you can ponder your own questions about textual creation, editing, and remediation. Feel free to comment with questions or responses to the work I’m sharing!
